pepper steak

Ingredients:

1-2 lbs round steak

½ tsp garlic

1 beef bouillon cube or 1-2 cups beef stock

1 chopped onion

14oz can of stewed tomatoes with liquid

3 Tbs soy sauce

1 red and 1 green bell pepper (sliced)

1 Tbs cold watermixed with 1 Tbs cornstarched

Buttered rice or noodles

 

Instructions:

Place meat in the bottom of slow cooker, Add garlic, onion, beef bouillon or stock, stewed tomatoes, and soy sauce. Cook on low 6-8 hours. 1 hour before serving mix stock and cornstarch. Add it to the slow cooker along with peppers cook additional hour. Salt to taste and serve over rice and noodles.  You can also follow this same recipe with out a crock pot by just simply frying all ingredients in skillet. This recipe can also be made by sautéing in a pan and takes about 20 minutes to add ingredents and fry up in some light olive oil!
